Die Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA) hat am 27. August 2025 die Ausschreibung für Biomasseanlagen eröffnet. Grundlage sind die alten Regeln des EEG 2023, weil das Biomassepaket 2025 noch nicht von der EU-Kommission genehmigt wurde. Das Problem: Erst mit der beihilferechtlichen Genehmigung durch Brüssel können die neuen Vorgaben angewandt werden.

Everyone is talking about battery storage. Many providers – especially start-ups – promise astronomical revenues in the SRL market. But a look at the official data from the German Federal Cartel Office shows that none of these start-ups are in the top 5 SRL marketers. Instead, one name stands out: Energy2market – the only major provider for small and medium-sized plants alongside corporate giants such as RWE and EnBW. Why? Because we simply do prequalification better.

E2m is the leading provider of decentralized negative Frequency restoration reserve (SRL) in Germany. This is also confirmed by the Bundeskartellamt’s latest report on the balancing power market: no other provider has prequalified more decentralized systems for the provision of negative SRL. e2m launches new product for even more flexibility that automates curtailment in the event of negative prices in a smart way and makes it economically attractive – even for smaller PV systems. For a 2.1 MWp system, this means up to 6 percent additional yield – around €6,000 extra per year.

HoBohTec GmbH relies on e2m as a partner for the connection and marketing of its first own battery storage system. Thanks to lean processes and close coordination, the modular “Powerhouse” system was quickly integrated into the grid and optimally utilized – a pilot project that serves as a model for other systems.
