On September 1, 2013, the VAT reverse charge procedure (reverse charge mechanism) was introduced in Germany for domestic electricity and gas supplies.
We are resellers according to § 3g UStG. We are suppliers within the meaning of §1a StromStV. To prove the reseller status of Energy2market GmbH, we are happy to provide you with the form from the tax office for viewing via download: Proof for resellers of natural gas and/or electricity.
The exact wording of the changes to the tax liability of the recipient (Section 13b UStG) by the Act on the Implementation of the Administrative Assistance Directive and on the Amendment of Tax Regulations (Administrative Assistance Directive Implementation Act) can be found on the website of the Federal Ministry of Finance.
