Germany's First Hybrid PPA with a Guaranteed Minimum Revenue
Project developer MaxSolar and flexibility marketer Energy2market (e2m) have signed a seven-year hybrid power purchase agreement (hybrid PPA). The combined power purchase agreement covers the marketing of a 45-MWp solar park and a 20-MW battery storage system with a capacity of 40 MWh in Waren (Müritz), Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The solar farm began operations in the summer of 2026, with the battery storage facility following in September 2027. The solar farm and battery storage facility are designed as a co-location project and share a common grid connection via their own substation.
