Efficient billing and automated processes for Energy2market

VPP pioneer relies on Wilken software for direct marketing, accounting and archiving.

Ulm/Essen. e2m, ENERGY to MARKET, a direct marketing company and pioneer in the field of virtual power plants (VPP), will be working with solutions from the Wilken Software Group in future. Specifically, the company is relying on the Wilken ENER:GY direct marketing industry software. As a result, e2m now has a comprehensive billing system for various energy generation plants and a standardized, yet individual mapping of a wide range of product constellations. This is crucial for the extremely complex billing processes within a VPP, as electricity and flexibilities are traded around the clock in real time. In accounting, e2m will also use Wilken ERP on a P/5 basis in the general ledger with the associated incoming invoice management and connection to the Wilken Cloud Archive. The company is thus consistently focusing on digitalization and automation, as AI-supported incoming invoice management enables highly efficient and fully digital invoice processing with fast checking and approval processes.

“As part of a tendering process, we placed our extensive requirements on the market and examined various system solutions. In the end, Wilken was the most convincing in its ability to implement our “lead to market process” and individual billing requirements with its software solution. With Wilken, we are building on a much more compact system landscape at e2m. At the same time, we will be able to execute core processes with a high degree of automation and increase our flexibility for future product developments and adaptations. Thus, COO (Chief Operating Officer), Yvonne Findeisen of e2m. On the Wilken side, CCO (Chief Customer Officer) Tobias Mann is looking forward to the cooperation: “Our solution for direct marketing from the Wilken ENER:GY product world makes the work of direct marketers much easier thanks to its high degree of automation and standardization. We are delighted that e2m, one of Germany’s largest companies in this sector, now relies on our technology and expertise.”

In addition to the energy market-specific software, Wilken was also able to impress e2m with its ERP system from the P/5 product family. The digital incoming invoice management is also used here. This automatically and AI-supported compares the incoming invoice data with the stored master data and checks the relevant document data for consistency, completeness and accuracy.

The contract between e2m and Wilken was signed at the Wilken Software Group’s trade fair stand at E-world on May 24.
